Fibre optic networking Kendal
We can install and test a range of fibre network cable standards for your home, home office, business and working premises.
We can install fibre from new, repair existing cable or combine fibre with traditional copper networks to augment capacity and performance.
Why have a fibre network?
Fibre optic networking is by far the best option for transferring large amounts of data and transferring that data at high speed over long or short distances. Increasingly the most desirable choice in businesses, it’s becoming increasingly more prevalent in smaller networks for backbones between structured copper networks.
Fibre backbone installation
Often referred to as riser systems, fibre backbones are installed to provide data connectivity between equipment rooms, floor to floor and comms. cabinets. Apart from the bandwidth capabilities, fibre is an excellent media for connections as it is free from interference like a copper medium. For example, if the data room is on the ground floor of a multistory block, the data facilities on each floor can be connected by fibre.

Free Initial consultation
Started by a request for services from a client, we will speak to the prospective customer to obtain an outline of requirements and a general objective.
Site survey
A stage where both parties establish and accept the scope and definitive objectives of any prospective project. Cable paths, equipment requirements and locations, materials and estimated time frames are established.
Quotation / Estimate
After the site survey, a formal quotation is given and the client accepts or declines. Any ammendments are agreed upon at this stage and accepted by both parties.
Scheduling
Start times, dates and durations are agreed upon with the client stipulating the best time for the work to be undertaken.
Installation and testing
After the installation is complete, testing commences and any errors rectified. The project is then signed off by all parties.
